Spacious open plan studio, centrally located, being a few seconds walk from the heart of Hay, Half Moon House is one of the oldest and most characterful houses in town. It has parking, essential, and alittle terrace for a BBQ and sun trap for reading. It is our family home that we are happy to share with you, and hope you enjoy its particular charm, character and rustic authentic welsh/english style. The ground floor studio apartment has its own entrance, onto an open plan kitchen/sitting room/bedroom.We feel it maintains the feeling of old happy days when it was a pub . The house has the best of tradition; wood burner, lime plastered walls, English Antiques, Welsh blankets, old beams, aswell as the modern amenities you may need, a modern shower room ,central heating, washing machine, WIFI. The bed is against the wall so accessed from one side. Your private bathroom is not ensuite but across a corridor . The front terrace is a beautiful mix of lavender, herbs and an infamous hysteria that cascades down. Perfect location for countryside walks, bookshop browsing and canoeing. Private parking by the front door.
