Glasbury Cottage is a spacious family home in the small village of Glasbury-on-Wye; in a brilliant private location - tucked away in this attractive village on The River Wye, and just 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 8 miles from Brecon. With a large and enclosed garden at the back and the front -making it safe for children and dogs - The Cottage is the perfect cottage to book for families. The House has 2 Double rooms and 1 twin room. The comfortable sitting room has sofas and chairs, wood burner and a large TV with Sky (basic package) and DVD. This leads on from the main dining area with table and seating for 6. The family kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin. Glasbury-on-Wye has the excellent Foyles restaurant and just across the river The River Cafe, one of our personal favourites; there is also The Harp, a more "local" pub and a small shop/garage. The River Wye in Glasbury has a long and large shingled beach, where there is always activity - whether it is families enjoying a picnic, playing games, in the summer swimming and paddling, groups of people in canoes or fishing, dog walking or bird watching.
