Location, Location, Location! Four bedroom house just a couple of hundred yards from the Hay Festival front entrance! And only a few minutes walk from the town centre with its many bookshops and quirky gift shops too. You couldn’t find a more convenient location for a visit to the Hay Festival. This is a friendly, happy centrally heated house right on Brecon Road in Hay itself within sight of the Festival grounds. It has everything you need for a comfortable Festival stay. Powerful fast wi-fi and a just a few minutes walk to the festival or to the town centre. Upstairs we have two large double bedrooms, each with a comfortable king-size bed. There is also a smaller room but still with a with a king-size bed. Both the larger rooms have wonderful views over the Black mountains. A recently updated wc/shower room is shared by these three upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs is another bright and airy room, normally used as an office but doubles as an extra bedroom, presently equipped with a single bed but if you prefer a double or a king, just let me know and we can swap it. Just outside this room is another well appointed modern shower room with hand basin and wc, equipped with hand rail supports for less able people; the previous tenant of this house was a wheelchair user. There is a very comfortable large through lounge room with a large screen TV and a pair of sofas, both long enough to sleep one person on if you have unexpected visitors. There is a recent extension to the rear of the house holding a new fully fitted modern kitchen and dining area with a pair of french doors leading to the outside with a 30ft x 12ft covered verandah for a party space and a dog-secure garden if you want to bring Rover. Off street parking at the rear of the house for a couple of cars is included - though you won't need a car, you can walk to everywhere from here. 5 night minimum stay.
