Location, Location, Location! Just a couple of hundred yards from the Hay Festival front entrance! And only a few minutes walk from the town centre with its many bookshops and quirky gift shops too. You couldn’t find a more convenient location for a visit to the Hay Festival. This is a friendly, happy centrally heated house right on Brecon Road in Hay itself within sight of the Festival grounds. It has everything you need for a comfortable Festival stay. Powerful fast wi-fi and a just a few minutes walk to the festival or to the town centre. Upstairs we have two large double bedrooms, each with a comfortable king-size bed. There is also a smaller room but still with a with a king-size bed. Both the larger rooms have wonderful views over the Black mountains. A recently updated wc/shower room is shared by these three upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs there is a well appointed modern shower room with hand basin and wc, equipped with hand rail supports for less able people; the previous tenant of this house was a wheelchair user. There is a very comfortable large through lounge room with a large screen TV and a pair of sofas. There is a recent extension to the rear of the house holding a new fully fitted modern kitchen and dining area with a pair of french doors leading to the outside with a 30ft x 12ft covered verandah for a party space and a dog-secure garden if you want to bring Rover. Off street parking at the rear of the house for 1 car is included - though you won't need a car, you can walk to everywhere from here.
